There are lots of crab pot floats on the creek and most of them are white 

but we came across this red one. 

The tide was pretty slack so it wasn't pulled too tight.  

And it was close to the marsh so the grass reflections were strong.

Just a perfect wind for sailing a boat like this one! But no sailers today. 

I started to paint this from my dock but the wind was so strong that it was hard to paint while holding my pochade box and tripod with one hand. So I had to come in to finish. 

Would've been a fine sailing day though!

I took my time with this one and is a studio painting and is framed in 3" gold frame. Ready for the gallery!
