as we join in with merchants and galleries for the very popular First Fridays on Broad!

The Charleston Artist Guild Gallery is also featuring Russell Buskirk 

with an opening reception for his fabulous exhibit.

I am very excited to be a part of this Guild which is a non profit organization and gallery with a continuing mission to promote the practice, teaching and appreciation of fine arts in the greater Charleston area.

I am pleased to announce that I have joined the Charleston Artist Guild Gallery! Pelicans and seagulls took over the wall! The gallery is located at 160 East Bay Street and is open from 11- 6 daily. This coming Friday, April 6th is art walk night! Come by, the gallery is open until 8!

Stroll the cobbled streets and gas lit alley ways to discover the works of well over 500 artists representing a diverse variety of styles and mediums from traditional to contemporary. All galleries of the French Quarter will be open with artists on hand and refreshments.

Studio 151 Fine Art Gallery will be open for the First Friday Art Walk this Friday, July 1!  We are convienently located just north of Broad Street which makes the gallery a perfect stopping and starting point for the walk. Stroll the streets in the evening with the warm summer breezes and chat with artists on hand while viewing fabulous art and sipping wine.

Old Tractor Out To Pasture

A couple of years ago, I was driving through the country about 2 hours west of St Louis, MO, right in the middle of the Mid West! We came across some old cars and a couple of tractors out in the fields. 

This one really captured me. I zoomed in with my composition in order to get the "guts" of the old tractor with the combination of colors of the rusted reds and yellows.
